Patronage: The Underground Sistine Chapel

To date, the patronage campain is closed (since the 7th of August 2020). More than $20k have been raised in Bitcoin and Ethereum.

I present to you the most ambitious project that I carried out so far: A modern version of the Sistine chapel, painted in an former gold foundry close to Paris (now Studio La Fonderie, Ivry-sur-Seine). All my projects being canceled because of the Covid 19, so this is a good opportunity to realize this monumental fresco for a period of 2 months.

I wanted to do this work till a while but I couldn't because of my schedule and the funding costs (materials, scaffolding rental, etc.). It's a 100% independent production (it's not an commissioned project and I'm not remunerated for carrying out this work). The fresco is doomed to disappear because the building will maybe be destroyed over time but I believe this project can make a powerful impression to the public. So I thought of funding it in the form of cryptocurrency patronage (Bitcoin & Ethereum), with NFT presales, which is completely new in the field of art patronage and could be interesting for mainstream medias. For the communication of the project to the public, there will be a film crew (Samouraï Coop) who will film the creation of the work to tell the story of this monumental project in a documentary, in addition to the posts on my social networks during the production. MichelAngelo was able to paint the Sistine Chapel thanks to the patronage of Pope Julius II. Today we have the opportunity to write history by this patronage of the crypto community in this modern underground chapel.
